CBS was part of the initialising process (Pilot Scheme) for the ACT Government.

 

Further involvement in the Pilot Scheme was the development of delivery procedures including consultation in the development of workshop drawings which are in line with the current Australian Standards and approved Manufacturers installation details.

 

Recycling of the original non compliant cladding was mandatory in the view of the ACT Government and CBS utilised the newly developed recycling service offered by Fairview Architectural. New handling, tracking and freight logistics were developed for this activity.

 

Performance of the rebuild was monitored by both the Builders Certifiers and ACT Government Architects at hold points in the construction and at completion.

 

Throughout the reconstruction process the buildings remained operational so varied public management systems were developed and implemented.
